“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is Yours.
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom;
You are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from You;
You are the ruler of all things.
In Your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.
Now, our God, we give You thanks,
and praise Your glorious name.”

If life seems at its lowest ebb, because a day’s gone wrong,
Let not your heart be troubled, for a new day soon will dawn.
And we can never be quite sure, just what it has in store,
Since each one is so different, than the one just gone before.
As it penetrates the darkness, with its soft and tranquil beams,
It calms even the most restless soul, and brings new hopes and dreams.
So when a day’s been troubled, and the night is dark and long,
Lift up your fallen spirits, for a new day soon will dawn.

“As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried:
He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him.
For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
It is God that girdes me with strength, and makes my way perfect.

He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up,

There are many traditions, holidays, and ceremonies, that we observe and hold in remembrance, and many of them in the name of Christianity. We celebrate birthdays, and Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter, and that’s fine, they are special days, and it’s good to celebrate, but there is one thing that the Lord has asked us to observe, in remembrance of Him, and the sacrifice that He made to redeem us, saying;
“Do this as oft as you will, in remembrance of me.” II Corinthians 11:25
As we remember the last supper today, we are also reminded of Christ’s sacrificial love for all of us. We are reminded of His tremendous suffering, and the price that He paid to save us. We are reminded that by His grace, through faith, we are saved.
Thank you, Jesus.♥

Hymn: “Take My Life and Let It Be” by- Malon, Havergal, and Mason
I will make the darkness light before you,
What is wrong I’ll make it right before you,
All your battles I will fight before you,
And the high place I’ll bring down.
When you walk by the way I’ll lead you,
On the fatness of the land I’ll feed you,
And a mansion in the sky I’ll deed you,
And the high place I’ll bring down.
With an everlasting love I’ll love you,
Though with trials deep and sore I’ll prove you,
But there’s nothing that can hurt or move you,
And the high place I’ll bring down.
Although satan in his rage would tear you,
And with all his scheming ways would snare you,
Even down to your old age I’ll bear you,
And the high place I’ll bring down.
I will make the darkness light before you,
I will make the crooked straight before you,
I will spread My wings protecting o’er you,
“And the high place I’ll bring down.”

This morning,
I checked with Google to find a Bible verse, (it IS the quickest way, you know!😊).
I hit the search bar and typed only two words, that’s right just two words:
“shall supply“.
I was hoping that the scripture address that I was looking for would pop right up
and, to my happiness,… IT DID!!!
In fact, it was the first site on the page.
See? Even Google recognizes what these two words refer to!
And I’m sure you do too.

A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to cast away;

These are the words that the LORD spoke into my heart, on this day, November 11, 1985. Like the woman mentioned here in this story, I had seen many doctors and suffered many things. I was in need of a touch from Jesus to heal me and make me whole. I needed a miracle.
At sunrise, on that beautiful fall morning , the Lord heard my quiet cry, and took me from barrenness to motherhood. Little did I know that this was only the beginning. Miraculously, He blessed me to give birth to three children, when the doctors, and the condition of my body, said that I’d never have one.
Forever grateful…

“…There came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple:
He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed…
Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.”

“For we are a sweet fragrance to God in Christ
among those who have life and among those who perish. “
2 Corinthians 2:15
The period of the evening which takes place, between daylight and darkness is called twilight…
In the days of Elisha, there was a severe famine. Outside the city gates there were four men who were lepers. These four men reasoned among themselves, “Why should we just sit here until we die? If we go into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there, and if we just sit here, we will die also. Let’s go to the camp of the Syrians. Maybe they will save us alive, or if they kill us, we shall but die…
And so they rose up in the twilight, to go to the camp of the Syrians.
When they got to the camp of the Syrians, there was no one there because the Lord had made the entire Syrian army to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, and the noise of a great army approaching, and they thought that the king of Israel had hired other foreign armies to join with him to fight them...So they arose and fled in the twilight... When the lepers arrived they found an abundance of food, silver and gold. They sent word back to the king and the starving people were satisfied.
I love this story… You can find it in II Kings chapter 7. I am always amazed that at precisely the same moment that the lepers decided to step out in faith, God began working on their behalf. As soon as they arose to go at twilight, God allowed the Syrians to hear an illusion at twilight, which scared them out of their wits and caused them to leave their treasures. The lepers were on their way, had probably walked all night, but God had already fought the battle for them, He had already solved their problem, and He had begun at precisely the moment that they believed… At twilight.
The next morning, with the rising of the sun, came long-awaited joy and deliverance…
It’s Bright!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD,

Jeremiah 29:11
“Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God,
… For ye are bought with a price…”
Corinthians 6:19-20a
Once we commit our lives to Christ, our bodies become the temple of the Holy Spirit.
David prayed in Psalm 51 saying, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” He asked the LORD to come in, and cleanse his “temple”, and then, he asked the LORD to renew a right spirit within him.
This week is holy week, and as I remember the events leading up to the crucifixion, I reflect on how Christ “cleansed the temple”, and how, because of His sacrafice, and by His blood, I too have been made clean, and by His Holy Spirit, a right spirit is renewed within me.
Thank You, Lord Jesus.
No weapon formed against me
Shall prosper, it won’t work.
GOD will do what He said He will do
He will stand by His Word, He will come through
No weapon formed against me
shall prosper, it won’t work.
GOD will do what he said
He will do, He’s not a man ,that He should lie
He will come through
Oh, I won’t be afraid of the arrows by day,
From the hand of my enemy.
I will stand my ground with the LORD on my side
For the snares they have set will not succeed.
No weapon formed against me
Shall prosper, it won’t work.

As they say in Australia, “No worries Mate!” and here’s the Bible version…
“Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6
During the most painful and trying times of my life, I discovered that reading God’s Word gave me the deepest peace and greatest comfort. I often say that during those times, I read my Bible so much,( morning, noon and night), that I actually “ate” God’s Word. I really delved deeply into it, and read as if my life depended on it, because I believed it did… I “ate” God’s Word and was comforted… God bless you.
