God Sent His Son
O LORD my God, When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars. I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed
And when I think,
That God, His Son not sparing,
Sent Him to die
I scarce can take it in.
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
Then sings my soul, My Savior, God to Thee
How Great Thou art! How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, My Savior, God to Thee
How Great Thou art! … How Great Thou art!
From Hymn- “How Great Thou Art” by Carl Boberg/ Stuart K. Hine
“My Times Are In Your Hands”
“My times are in Your hands…” – Psalm 31:16 TLV
My times are in Your hands,
Whatever they may be,
pleasing, painful,
dark , or bright,
As best may seem to Thee.
– from sermon by Charles Spurgeon, “In Thy Hand”
“Every Single One”
“The righteous cry out and ADONAI hears,
and delivers them from all their troubles.
ADONAI is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those crushed in spirit.
Many are the distresses of the righteous,
but ADONAI delivers them out of them all.”
Psalms 34:18-19
Choose To Trust
Every penny bears the reminder, “In God We Trust” but for Job it was personal.
Job said, ” Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” – Job 15:13
Meaning, “Even if He kills me, I will die trusting in Him.” Proof of the trust in God that was rooted in Job.
No matter what. I choose to trust.
Trust in God.
What We Hope For
“Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
– Hebrews 11:1
