“What Does the Bible Say?…”

wall with the text i can t breathe

“Rescue those being dragged off to death,

Hold back those stumbling to slaughter.”

“If you say, “Look, we didn’t know this.”

Won’t He who weighs hearts perceive it?

Won’t He who guards your soul know it?

Won’t He repay each one according to his deeds?”

Partiality in judgement is not good.

Whoever tells the guilty, “You are innocent,”

People curse him

And nations revile him.

But for those who convict the guilty

There will be delight– good blessing will come upon them.”

-Proverbs 24:11-12 and 23-25 Tree of Life Version

“Do You Trust Him?”

arid bryce canyon clouds color

“WE HAVE A BIG GOD. WE HAVE A WONDERFUL JESUS.

WE HAVE A GLORIOUS COMFORTER.

GOD’S CANOPY IS OVER YOU AND WILL COVER YOU AT ALL TIMES,

PRESERVING YOU FROM EVIL.

UNDER HIS WINGS SHALL YOU TRUST.

THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND POWERFUL, AND IN IT’S TREASURES YOU WILL FIND ETERNAL LIFE.

IF YOU DARE TRUST THIS WONDERFUL LORD, THIS LORD OF LIFE, YOU WILL FIND IN HIM EVERYTHING YOU NEED.”

– Smith Wigglesworth

“He Watches Over You”

aerial photography of city

“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains — from where does my help come?”

“My help comes from ADONAI,  Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip.

Your keeper will not slumber.

Behold, the Keeper of Israel

neither slumbers nor sleeps.

ADONAI is your keeper. ADONAI is your shadow at your right hand.

The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

ADONAI will protect you from all evil.

He will guard your life.

ADONAI will watch over your coming and your going

From this time forth and forever more.”

Psalm 121  –Tree of Life Version

God Will Take Care Of You

“Be not dismayed whatever betide,

God will take care of you.

Beneath His wings of love abide,

God will take care of you.”

“He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings will you find refuge. His faithfulness is body armor and shield.” – Psalm 91:4

No Power of Hell

“No guilt in life, No fear in death,

This is the power of Christ in me

From life’s first cry to final breath,

Jesus commands my destiny

No power of hell, no scheme of man

Can ever pluck me from His hand

Till He returns or calls me home

Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand.”

Song- “In Christ Alone” – By Getty and Townsend – Sung by Adrienne Liesching

God Sent His Son

sky space dark galaxy

O LORD my God, When I in awesome wonder

Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made

I see the stars. I hear the rolling thunder

Thy power throughout the universe displayed

little golden star

And when I think,

That God, His Son not sparing,

Sent Him to die

I scarce can take it in.

That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,

He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul, My Savior, God to Thee

How Great Thou art! How great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, My Savior, God to Thee

How Great Thou art! … How Great Thou art!

From Hymn- “How Great Thou Art” by Carl Boberg/ Stuart K. Hine

Choose To Trust

cash coins money pattern

Every penny bears the reminder,  “In God We Trust” but for Job it was personal.

Job said, ” Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” – Job 15:13

Meaning, “Even if He kills me, I will die trusting in Him.” Proof of the trust in God that was rooted in Job.

No matter what. I choose to trust.

Trust in God.

Thanksgiving Hallelujah!

“My Hallelujah belongs to you… My Hallelujah belongs to you

My Hallelujah belongs to you… My Hallelujah belongs to you

You deserve it, You deserve it, You deserve it, You deserve it

All of the glory belongs to You… All of the glory belongs to You

All of the glory belongs to You… All of the glory belongs to You

You deserve it, You deserve it, You deserve it, You deserve it

Hallelujah!   Hallelujah!   Hallelujah!   Hallelujah!

All the Glory, All the Honor, All the Praise!

You deserve it.

My Hallelujah belongs to You.”

Count it all joy… when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance” – James 1:2

“…Boast in suffering — knowing that suffering produces perseverance, and perseverance character, and character hope.” – Romans 5:3-4

“For I consider the sufferings of this present time not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed in us.” – Romans 8:18

“So then, those who suffer according to God’s will — let them trust their souls to a faithful Creator while continuing to do good.” – 1 Peter 4:19

“After you have suffered awhile, the God of grace– who has called you into His eternal glory in Messiah– will Himself restore, support,strengthen, and establish you.

-1 Peter 5:10

Still

green pine trees near body of water

“Be still ,my soul; the LORD is on your side! Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;

Leave to your God to order and provide… In every change, He faithful will remain.

Be still, my soul; your Best, your heavenly Friend,

Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul; your God will undertake

To guide the future as He has the past.

Your hope,  your confidence let nothing shake;

All now mysterious shall be bright at last.

Be still, my soul; the waves and wind still know

His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.”

“Be Still My Soul”- hymn by J. Sibelius and K. Schlegel

Be Not Dismayed

Be not dismayed whate’er betide, God will take care of you;

Beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you.

God will take care of you,

Through every day,

O’er all the way;

He will take care of you,

God will take care of you.

No matter what may be the test, God will take care of you;

Lean weary one upon His breast, God will take care of you.

“As The Day Breaks”

seashore under white and blue sky during sunset

“As the day breaks and the shadows flee away,… flee away,

As the day breaks and the shadows flee away,… flee away,

Guide me O Thou  Great Jehovah,

Keep me faithful to Thy call,

As the day breaks and the shadows flee away.”

*”Sung by my great-grandmother, to her daughter, my Grandma, when she was growing up, during morning quiet time.”

Song of Songs 2:17

His Love Has No Limit

beach boat dawn dusk

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater;

He sendeth more strength when the labors increase.

To added affliction, He addeth His mercy;

To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

His love has no limit; His grace has no measure;

His pow’r has no boundary known unto men.

For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,

He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again!

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,

When our strength has failed, ere the day is half done,

When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,

Our Father’s full giving is only begun.

Hymn by – Annie J.Flint and Huburt Mitchell

Surely Every Season

white printed paper with four white roses

“I was blind, now I’m seeing in color, I was dead, now I’m living forever.

I had failed, but You are my Redeemer, I’ve been blessed beyond all measure.

You were there in the valley of shadows, You were there in the depths of my sorrows

You’re my strength, my hope for tomorrow, I’ve been blessed beyond all measure.

I am counting every blessing, counting every blessing.

Letting go and trusting when I cannot see.

I am counting every blessing, counting every blessing.

Surely, every season You are good to me.”

“Counting Every Blessing”  – lyrics by Rend Collective
