“Hosanna, Please Save!”

It’s very timely, and interesting too, to know that the Hebrew  word for Hosanna is Hoshiana which means “Please save!”

And so, this Palm Sunday, as we remember what Christ has done for us, we can again say:

“LORD please save!”

“Hosanna in the Highest!”

“Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the LORD!”

Matthew 21:9

Hosanna!

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King is coming unto thee: He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey…” Zechariah 9:9

Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Hosanna!“… “

And many spread their garments in the road: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strewed them in the way. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried saying,

“Blessed is He that comes in the name of the LORD!”

Mark 11:7-10

Hosanna!

“And they brought the colt to Jesus, and put their garments on Him; and He sat upon him.

And many spread their garments in the road: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strewed them in the way. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried saying,

“HOSANNA; BLESSED IS HE THAT COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!”  Mark 11:7-10

Hosanna In The Highest

“And they brought the colt to Jesus, and put their garments on Him; and He sat upon him. And many spread their garments in the road: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried saying, HOSANNA; BLESSED IS HE THAT COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD… Hosanna in the highest.” Mark 11:7-10
