“This morning before dawn, I opened my Bible to the story of Joseph.
Genesis 39 and 40
He was sold into slavery, falsely accused, and forgotten in prison, but…
Because God was with him,
He prospered as a servant in Potiphar’s house.
He was favored in jail by the warden, and
He was promoted by Pharaoh.
So, be encouraged and trust in God.
Because no matter what things looks like…
God is with us. ♥
Yes, God is with us in spite of circumstances — as long as we are with Him. We need to study His book of guidelines for success, then when we wander off the straight and narrow and He puts barriers in our way we’ll recognize them. If we feel frustrated and confused, it’s time to stop and see if we are walking where He wants us to go.
“In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.”
Matthew 28:20…”and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
AMEN :)
I was blessed by the way you disected these scriptures, rightly dividing the word of truth. The study of Josephs’s life is encouraging and worthwhile because Gods word shows how the Lord can raise up his own even when it looks like a life has been ruined. The Lord can, and I believe He will prosper us, give us favor and promotion in the midst of adversity.
